A rare screening of 35mm prints of films by the masters of Czech puppet and stop-motion animation: Karel Zeman, Jiri Barta, Jan Svankmajer, and Jiri Trnka. The films, by turns arresting and beautiful, odd and surreal, have huge influence in contemporary animation and include a couple of Oscar-winners. Presented by Michael Connerty.
