IFI Spotlight returns with a lively morning of discussion on the current state of the Irish Film and Television industry. Now in our 13th year, IFI Spotlight provides a crucial critique of the industry and an exploration of recent trends in production, distribution, and representation. We welcome back Dr Roddy Flynn (DCU), joined by Dr Barry Monahan (UCC) to offer an incisive review of the past year, exploring developments in the industry and providing critical analysis of the film and television output of the year.

Panellists Katie Holly (Keeper Pictures), Dr Ciarán Kissane (IFCO), Rose Baker (Belfast Film Festival) and Donald Clarke (Irish Times) will then offer their reflections on the year in a panel moderated by Sheila De Courcy (formerly of RTÉ).
