This unique film by writer, director, and academic Itandehui Jansen, provides a unique insight into the Mixtec community in Oaxaca from their own perspective. Traditional healer Soledad lives in a remote village with her grandson, whose mother Andrea has migrated to Mexico City. Soledad’s world changes forever when Andrea returns.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Itandehui Jansen, moderated by Dr. Catherine Leen, Department of Hispanic Studies, TCD.
