HOW TO HAVE SEX Director: MOLLY MANNING WALKER 98 mins, UK, 2023, Digital, F-Rated Please enable cookies if you want to view this trailer Book cinema tickets Close friends Tara, Em, and Skye arrive off the plane in Crete, gearing up for a wild summer holiday. Tara (Mia McKenna-Bruce) hasn’t yet had her first sexual experience, which Em and (especially) Skye delight in taunting her about as the trio furiously swap clothes and compliments in preparation for each night out. Through a haze of jokes, shots and cheese-covered chips, they attempt to block out thoughts about the impending exam results and what lies ahead for each of them. Friendships blossom when they meet their hotel neighbours, Badger, Paddy, and Paige, but as the group pair off, the “best holiday ever” plays out very differently for Tara. A gripping feature debut from writer-director Molly Manning Walker that effortlessly explores the subject of consent and earned itself the Un Certain Regard award at the Cannes Film Festival. There will be Open Captioned screenings at 15.40 on Monday 6th and at 18.10 on Thursday 9th.
