As part of our Beyond the Bechdel Test season, focusing on the work of women in film and the representation of women on film, the IFI hosted a panel-led event comprising of presentations followed by an open discussion, chaired by filmmaker Neasa Hardiman and featuring panellists: Roe McDermott (critic and writer); Pat Murphy (filmmaker); Aisling Daly (Writers Guild); and Ruth Barton (Head of Film Studies at TCD).
