We are delighted to announce the winner of this year’s IFI Open Day Audience Choice is the Irish film Out of Here.
Over 2,500 votes were cast since the polls opened, and Out of Here beat off stiff competition, with several hundred votes of a win on the second place runner-up, the explosive Whiplash.
Tickets for Out of Here (and all other IFI Open Day screenings) are free of charge and will become available at 11am on June 20th at the IFI only (not available online or by phone). Maximum of four tickets per person (all allocated on a first come, first served basis). Arrive early as tickets are expected to go quickly!
Join us for our annual IFI Open Day on Saturday, June 20th 2015 to celebrate all that the IFI has to offer with a day of FREE previews, classics, Irish and international films + tours of our projection booth and the IFI Irish Film Archive, a family workshop and a chance to win flights to New York with Aer Lingus.
A highlight of IFI Open Day is the Audience Choice when we bring back a film voted by YOU to the big screen once more! All you have to do is vote for your favourite in our top ten listing below (short-listed from IFI Staff picks, where 38 films were nominated from a possible 151) and the winning film will screen for free at 20.25 on Saturday, June 20th.
