With many anti-surveillance groups operating from Berlin, and the largest association of hackers founded there, this high-octane tech-thriller has some quite convincing moments. Benjamin is a young computer whizz who, desperate to release his inner superhero, gets caught up in a group of small time hackers. Told in flashback, from his confession to a Hague cybercrime officer, Benjamin reveals the group’s activities which ranged from pranks to major intelligence leak and tragedy, causing him to plead for witness protection.
