It’s 1950s France and country girl Rose moves to Paris to take on a secretarial job where it doesn’t take long for her boss (Romain Duris) to see the potential of Rose’s amazing typing skills. Next stop the national speed-typing championships. The glamorous costumes, cars and period details make this a charming film that also manages to make several points about choices for women with humour and subtlety.
