Making a welcome return after a five-year hiatus, the IFI’s annual Open Day will this year take place on Saturday, September 10th, in the month in which the organisation celebrates the thirtieth anniversary of its move to its current Temple Bar home. As always, our usual programme will be suspended for the day, and audiences both old and new will be offered a selection of free screenings of films old and new intended to give a flavour of the huge breadth of programming that takes place at the IFI all year round.

Open Day will run from 12.00 to 23.00, and will be a day full of free film screenings, Archive tours, and Projection Booth tours. Tickets for films are to be collected one hour before each screening in the IFI Foyer. Please note: Projection Tours and Archive Tours are now fully pre-booked.
