What kinds of skills and supports are required by a filmmaker when making a documentary outside their own environment? What responsibilities does the filmmaker have to participants? What are the pros and cons of collaboration with global partners? These will be amongst the topics under discussion in this session.

Working Beyond Borders will be chaired by producer and journalist Tanya Sillem, and will include a discussion with journalists Paola Totaro and Ziad Ghandour, and journalist Sally Hayden.
