Photographer Perry Ogden’s intimate portrait of Winnie, a resilient and spirited young Traveller, and her family who live in a dilapidated trailer on the side of the road in a desolate industrialised area of Dublin. The film presents an unflinching account of a marginalised community living in extreme poverty in a then prosperous Ireland. It follows Winnie through several weeks of her life, as she struggles with her identity as a young Traveller girl in contemporary Ireland. The film proved a remarkable success, garnering ‘Best Film’ awards at the Galway Film Fleadh, London Film Festival, and Irish Film and Television Awards, as well as a notable Human Rights Award at the Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema.
