A hugely influential yet mysterious figure in popular music, Kerry-born ballroom impresario Bill Fuller promoted legends Nina Simone, Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson, Joan Baez, Billie Holiday, Johnny Cash and Thin Lizzy through the 30s to the 70s. He owned at one point, 23 music venues including the iconic Fillmore West in San Francisco, The Electric Ballroom in Camden London, and both the Old Shieling Hotel and the Crystal Ballroom in Dublin, which later became McGonagles. Fuller largely eschewed the limelight, making this documentary a fascinating look at this Ballyseedy character. World premiere: Dublin International Film Festival 22 February 2026
