A gripping crime thriller set backstage against the intense world of swing-bout girl boxers, with a narrative that unfolds in the dressing room of a major boxing event in Ireland where a group of female fighters await their chance to step into the ring, and centering on Toni (Ciara Berkeley), whose tumultuous journey over the course of one night is marked by deceit, betrayal, and life-altering decisions. Intricately weaving the personal struggles and aspirations of the boxers with the external pressures exerted by event promoter Micko (Frank Prendergast) and his brother Jack (Ben Condron), who face their own challenges as the Gardaí come calling, and subverting the norms of traditional boxing movies, the film offers a fresh perspective on the genre, with a striking visual style and compelling atmosphere.
