The extraordinary true story of the Irish woman who shot Mussolini is brought to life in Barrie Dowdall's documentary. Violet Gibson, daughter of the Lord Chancellor to Ireland, shot the dictator at point-blank range as she faced a fascist mob in Rome in 1926. With Olwen Fouéré in the titular role, this docu-drama looks at how Gibson almost changed the course of history and the enormous personal price she paid.
