The truly astonishing story of Bill Fuller, a Kerry-born Irish emigrant, and one of the most important figures in popular music in the 20th century, he was the owner of 23 iconic music venues in Ireland, the UK and US. Inspired by the success of his first wife, Carmel Quinn, as a singer in the US, he began promoting artists like Nina Simone, Patsy Cline, Willy Nelson, Joan Baez, Billie Holiday and Johnny Cash. But his was a life bedevilled by marital infidelity, secret families and shady dealings with the Mafia and IRA.
