To mark the bicentennial of the publication of Mary Shelley’s novel, the festival is delighted to welcome Sir Christopher Frayling, noted author of numerous books on cultural history and contemporary culture, including last year’s award winning Frankenstein – The First 200 Years, to give a talk on the subject.

The talk will be followed by a screening of Hammer classic Frankenstein And The Monster From Hell (1974), the final film from legendary horror director Terence Fisher.
