June’s pairing of a new release and a specially created IFI Café Bar main course will be Thomas Piper’s Five Seasons: Gardens of Piet Oudolf.
The menu options on the evening:
Chicken Breast Stuffed with Feta, spinach and apricots served with Mash Potato and Asparagus with a Mushroom sauce
Pan Fried Fillet of Hake served with a Garden Vegetable Salad
Roasted Vegetable Stew served with Homemade Soda Bread
Taking place over five seasons, Piper’s documentary about Dutch garden designer Oudolf brings us into the mind and creative process of this influential figure as he explores some of his most well regarded public work, his own gardens in Hummelo, and a new garden he is currently installing in Southwest England. Immersed in these gardens, the film moves gently through changes in the weather and the seasons, as Oudolf shares his views on planting, beauty and life.
Tickets €21, free list suspended.
