The first of two iconic films directed by Billy Wilder and starring Marilyn Monroe. This summer-themed screwball features publisher and faithful husband, Richard, when left home alone in the New York heat, finds company in his beautiful neighbour who sets his imagination on fire. So much has been written about Marilyn, it’s easy to forget how good she was, with superb comic timing and stunning screen presence as The Girl, she helped create a cinema classic.
