This gripping, Oscar-nominated historical drama focuses on the 1972 Munich Olympics hostage crisis, from the viewpoint of the ABC television sports crew. As the first widely televised edition of the Olympics, the dedicated reporters found themselves transitioning from sports reporting to covering a human crisis, when 10 Israeli athletes were kidnapped from the Olympic village. Inexperienced in live reporting, the journalists were thrown into a situation that forced them to consider the ethics of journalism, mindful of every word they used, while lives were at stake.
