Timestamp, directed by Berlinale award-winning filmmaker Kateryna Gornostai, is a documentary about education during wartime in Ukraine. Without interviews or narration, the film observes students and teachers adapting to extraordinary circumstances — from lessons in bomb shelters to online classrooms and schools near the frontline. Through these everyday experiences, it reveals education as a source of resilience, dignity, and continuity. More than a portrait of a country at war, Timestamp is a story about hope and the future.
