Against the majestic mountain backdrop, Johannes meets a host of shady characters, becomes embroiled in a bizarre conspiracy, and meets Karin (Olivia Ross), an elusive pianist who knows things about him that he’s never told anyone else. Before he knows it, his curiosity traps him inside a mind-bending metaphysical web of murder and mystery. A deliciously teasing puzzle, Timm Kröger’s gorgeous pastiche references the films of Hitchcock, Fassbinder, Welles and Lynch, while retaining its own unique cinematic sensibility.
