Few English football clubs have as deep a bond with their Irish supporters as Leeds United. The club of Irish heroes such as John Giles, Ian Harte, and Robbie Keane, its supporters have endured their share of misfortune over the years, with perhaps the controversial circumstances of the loss of the 1975 European Cup final, forerunner to the Champions League, stinging the most. Harvey Marcus’s compelling documentary follows the team’s campaign across Europe, utilising unseen footage from dedicated fans, building to the final in Paris against defending champions Bayern Munich and an outcome that still angers supporters half a century later.
