Now in our 7th year of collaboration, Women in Film and Television Ireland (WFT), in partnership with the IFI and supported by Coimisiún na Meán and Screen Ireland, are proud to present this annual showcase of work celebrating the breadth and strength of work by new and established women filmmakers in and from Ireland today. The programme is followed by an awards ceremony with prizes for best Writer, Actor, Documentary, Cinematography and Best Film.

WFT is a membership-based organisation seeking gender equity in the screen industries. It hosts regular workshops, talks, training and member chats. WFT Ireland Chair, Dr. Susan Liddy, is the incumbent President of WIFT International facilitating global connections for the Irish chapter.
