Family Pack

On July 10th 1969, man is preparing to walk on the moon. In Montreal, life is much more complicated. For two years, Sacha (Marie Bunel) has been living a blissful lie, free from the expectations of her mother, Esther (Helene Vincent). Leaving mum behind in Belgium, Sacha is sent to Canada to become a doctor, but she quits school to study photography. Yes, she does have a secret lover, as Esther suspects, only it’s not a future husband and son-in-law but a beautiful woman. Family Pack is a smashing directorial debut by the award-winning writer of Ma vie en rose, Chris Vander Stappen. In Family Plot she again turns her light touch to themes of sexual identity and family dynamics with no less charm and wit.
