Legendary composer Ennio Morricone has created music for over seventy award-winning films, including Leone’s Dollars Trilogy, Once Upon a Time in America, Cinema Paradiso, The Mission, and The Untouchables. He has been awarded the Academy’s Honorary Award, the Venice Film Festival Golden Lion Honorary Award, three Golden Globes, six BAFTAs, three Grammy Awards, and an Oscar for Best Original Score. Morricone’s trusted collaborator and friend of three decades, Giuseppe Tornatore, directs a documentary with exclusive access to the maestro’s private life and work. Featuring a wealth of archival footage, and interviews with filmmakers and artists that are collaborators and admirers of Morricone, such as Bernardo Bertolucci, Clint Eastwood, Bruce Springsteen, Quentin Tarantino, John Williams, and Wong Kar Wai.
