A coming-of-age comedy drama about two closeted teenagers, Eddie and Amber, who fake a relationship in order to stop all the speculation around them.

At first they love the reaction and begin to enjoy their peculiar arrangement. They become close friends and give each other a new-found confidence. Although their ‘ideal’ arrangement is soon threatened, dividing the two, and forcing Eddie further into the closet. Dating Amber is an honest, heartfelt and hilarious look at growing up gay in 1990s Ireland. It’s about first love, friendship and discovering who you are.
