Dónal Ó Céilleachair (The Camino Voyage) traces the transmission of Zen meditation through the life’s work of now 90-year-old Irish-American Jesuit Zen Master Robert Kennedy – and his successors and students – and shows how Kennedy’s work has brought him into dialogue with some of the most iconic figures of 20th Century Japanese and American Zen. The film provides inspiration in its exploration of interfaith dialogue on the common ground of human experience. Followed by a Q&A with Dónal Ó Céilleachair and executive producer and contributor Miriam Healy, hosted by writer Michael Harding. This screening will be preceded by the short film Seeding the Future – seeking hope at a time of deepening ecological crisis.
