The IFI Youth Panel, formed in 2023, is currently compiled from 25 & Under cardholders. The group meet regularly to discuss film, the work of the IFI, and programme a monthly film event. Through participation in the IFI Youth Panel members gain insight into the work of the organisation, film programming and the inner workings of a cultural venue. Members also gain practical marketing, event planning, and programming experience.
Recent IFI Youth Panel events include screenings of Little Miss Sunshine, Moonlight and The Florida Project.
Participation in the panel runs from October-October, and we’ll be recruiting for new members in September 2025. For further information contact hfurlong@irishfilm.ie
The EFA Young Audience Award, or YAA, presented to the best European film for young people each year, as chosen by youth juries from all over Europe.
Panelists get the opportunity to watch a variety of films from throughout Europe, before debating and voting for which film should win. For more information, click here.
Keep an eye out for when we begin recruiting our IFI YAA Panel 2024.
