Bord Scannán na hÉireann/The Irish Film Board Short Films

A programme of nine short films inspired by the subject of 1916 and what it has left in its wake, commissioned by the IFB. Programme includes fiction and non-fiction, live-action and animation, contemporary and period pieces.

Fiction: A Terrible Hullabaloo (Ben O’Connor); Goodbye, Darling (Maria Elena Doyle); My Life for Ireland (Kieron J Walsh); The Cherishing (Dave Tynan ); The Party (Andrea Harkin).

Non-Fiction: A Father’s Letter (Joseph Dolan); Baring Arms (Colm Quinn); Mr. Yeats and the Beastly Coins (Ann Marie Hourihane & Laura McNicholas); Granite and Chalk (Patrick Hodgins).

Also screening as part of  RTÉ’s  Reflecting the Rising.
