A Man Called Ove is out now, and audiences are loving this tale of a grumpy older man (played by Rolf Lassgård) who is totally committed to his curmudgeonly way of life.
The film is based on 2012 novel by the Swedish author Frederik Backman and by all accounts its a sterling adaptation from director Hannes Holm, who also adapted the story for the screen.
Here’s the synopsis: Ove, an ill-tempered, isolated retiree who spends his days enforcing block association rules and visiting his wife’s grave, has finally given up on life just as an unlikely friendship develops with his boisterous new neighbours.
To celebrate the release of the film, we’ve got copies of Backman’s book to give away. All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is check out the simple question below and fill in your answer and details.
