DOCUMENTARY AT THE IFI. Part of the Weekend Never Dies was filmed on tour with Soulwax and was directed by Saam Farahmand and Soulwax themselves, and edited by Kurt Augustyns. It takes in 120 shows at gigs across Europe, Japan, the US, Latin America and Australia. It is, in fact, two films; a live music film and a documentary which includes 2manydj’s, Soulwax Nite Versions and features James Murphy, Nancy Whang, Erol Alkan, Tiga, Justice, Busy P, So-Me, Peaches, Kitsune, Klaxons and many more in exclusive behind the scenes footage, interviews and LOTS of music. Capturing all the excitement, chaos and humour of a huge world tour, this event is the warm up for their gig across in Dame Street later in the evening.
