The IFI’s monthly forum on film, The Critical Take, will mark the 20th anniversary celebrations this month with a special edition of the event, where audience volunteers themselves will make up the panel to lead the discussions.
Taking place on Tuesday, September 25th at 18.30, our four speakers – Stephen Campbell, Angela Long, Enda McDonagh and Aisling Sheridan – will open up the debate on Peter Strickland’s eerie Berberian Sound Studio (screening until September 13th), John Hillcoat’s Lawless (September 7th – 27th) starring Gary Oldman and Jessica Chastain, and About Elly (September 14th – 27th) from Asghar Farhadi, director of last year’s widely acclaimed A Separation.
This is a FREE but ticketed event. Please book your seat with the IFI Box Office via email, by phone on 01 679 3477 or when visiting.
This event is part of IFI20: Celebrating 20 Years in Temple Bar.
