Last Monday we were delighted to welcome a very special guest at the IFI – President of Ireland and Patron of IFI, Michael D. Higgins and his wife Sabina who attended a screening of Nostalgia for the Light, a Chilean documentary which uses astronomical research as the basis of an exploration into the enduring impact of Pinochet’s dictatorship.
