Karim Aïnouz’s satire of wealth and privilege follows four affluent siblings in a secluded Catalan villa, whose rarified world begins to fracture when the eldest announces plans to leave and long-buried secrets surrounding their mother’s death emerge. Blending absurdist humour with psychological unease, and boasting a cast that includes Callum Turner, Riley Keough, Jamie Bell, Lukas Gage, Tracy Letts, Elle Fanning and Pamela Anderson, Aïnouz crafts a visually sumptuous portrait of a family unravelling under the weight of patriarchy, trauma and inherited fortune.
