Working at a petrol station in a small midlands town, Josie, a simple, middle-aged man leads a monotonous and lonely life until a new co-worker opens up the possibility of new experiences. But his naivety leaves him defenceless against the misunderstandings and hostilities which ensue.

Lenny Abrahamson and writer Mark O’Halloran reunite (following Adam & Paul) to create a richly textured portrait of male loneliness and vulnerability in the Irish midlands with comedian Pat Shortt an absolute revelation in the role of Josie.
