(CHIEN 51)

In a dystopian future, Paris is split into three zones separated by checkpoints, with citizens surveilled by ALMA, the omnipresent AI system. When its creator is murdered, top cop Salia Malberg (Adèle Exarchopoulos, Blue is the Warmest Colour, Passages) – newly of Zone 2 – alongside Zone 3 lieutenant Zem Brecht (Gilles Lellouche), must track down the killer. However, someone has hijacked the system, escalating the violence between the zones. Cédric Jimenez’s (director of November, a 2023 festival highlight) high-stakes futuristic thriller questions the use of tools so powerful they can bypass justice.
