(LE RENDEZ-VOUS DE L’ÉTÉ)

With the Paris 2024 Olympic Games underway, Blandine, a shy 30-year-old, has travelled from Normandy to attend the swimming events. While there, she reconnects with her half-sister and meets her niece Alma for the first time. Filmed during the Games and utilising real crowds and venues from last summer, Blandine traverses the alternately crowded and deserted city streets, learning to embrace the atmosphere. Amidst the grandeur of the global event, it is her personal journey and her growing bond with her niece that offers a melancholic, charming and heart-warming story of family, identity, and new beginnings.
