When the three kids go to visit Grandpa, they decide to cheer him up by telling stories, using three magic ingredients as their grandma had taught them. Sitting high up in the treehouse, they place grandma’s hat in the middle, toss in their ingredients and let their imaginations go. Stories of magic, adventure, friendship and family unfold, as they are taken on wonderful new adventures together, in this stunning stop-motion feature, based on a story by Arnost Goldflam.

To facilitate young audiences who may not be used to reading subtitles, our Festival reader, Kelly, will be on hand to read the subtitles aloud, just like storytelling.
