LET’S GET LOST 4K RESTORATION

In the 1950s, Chet Baker’s jazz trumpeting, intimate crooning, and matinee idol looks epitomised West Coast cool. When photographer Bruce Weber caught up with him three decades later, time and drug addiction had ravaged Baker’s life and angelic beauty. Shown here in a new 4K digital restoration, the bittersweet Let’s Get Lost offers a poignant and intimate look at Baker’s life, exploring his music, personal struggles, and turbulent relationships. Weber’s elegiac film features candid interviews with Baker himself, his friends, family, and former lovers; archive footage and photographs are used extensively, capturing the musician’s rise to fame in the ‘50s, his peak years as a jazz icon, and his subsequent decline.
