Much Ado about Nothing

Director: Kenneth Branagh

UK/USA| 1993| Drama| 110 mins

Kenneth Branagh’s star-studded film adaptation of Shakespeare’s comedy is set in the beautiful Tuscan countryside.
The plot centres on two pairs of lovers, Hero and Claudio (Kate Beckinsale and Robert Sean Leonard) whose love is thwarted and almost destroyed by villain Don John (Keanu Reeves). He is motivated by jealousy of his half-brother Don Pedro (Denzel Washington). The other couple, Beatrice and Benedick (Emma Thompson and Kenneth Branagh) are almost kept apart by their own stubbornness and refusal to admit their love for one another.
