IFI Accessible Cinema Focus Group Meetings
Have you availed of any of our open captioned or audio described screenings?
If so, we would like to hear from you.
In April 2016 we launched our accessible cinema pilot project, in conjunction with the Arts Council. Since then we have screened over twenty two films with open captions or audio description to meet the varied needs of our audiences.
We are holding two focus group meetings in April in order to get your feedback on the pilot project.
April 10th, 6pm-7.30pm for deaf/hard of hearing audiences availing of open captions (+ ISL & onsite speech to text facilitation)
April 19th, 6pm-7.30pm for blind/vision impaired audiences availing of audio description
The meetings will be informal. Light refreshments will be served.
All focus group participants will receive a pair of complimentary tickets to an accessible screening of their choosing at IFI.
Please contact Alicia McGivern, Head of Education at IFI to confirm your participation in the focus group. firstname.lastname@example.org
If you cannot attend the focus groups, we would love to hear from you through our online survey. Please click HERE to take our accessibility survey.
