The Dalkey Book Festival runs from June 13th to 16th with a host of special guests and events for book lovers, and we want to send you along to one of them!
On Sunday June 16th from 11.30, Dalkey Book Festival welcomes the creator of the internationally successful German blockbuster Deutschland ‘83 and its follow up ‘86 (and soon to be aired ‘89), Anna Winger. The series are produced by Winger’s husband Joerg Winger and the Cold War TV drama has received rave reviews for its fashion and soundtrack. It’s the highest-rating subtitled drama in television history, and the biggest German cultural export since Kraftwerk! Anna Winger will be in conversation with David McWilliams.
