For Wild Strawberries this month, we are offering you the chance to see a brand new film from the main IFI programme.

This latest feature from Irish filmmaker Lenny Abrahamson (Room, What Richard Did) is an adaptation of Sarah Waters’s gothic novel starring Domhnall Gleeson as a country doctor called to a crumbling 18th century estate. Befriending the family, he becomes aware of their precarious financial state.

A series of disturbing events unfolds, played out against the gloom and decay of the family home.

Wild Strawberries is our film club for over 55s. Tickets: €4.25 including regular tea/coffee before the event. If you happen to look younger, please don’t take offence if we ask your age.
