Join us as we announce highlights from the line-up of this year’s Horrorthon festival (October 24th–28th) and offer audiences the opportunity to see on the big screen the Soska Sisters’ (American Mary) version of David Cronenberg’s 1977 classic.

Laura Vandervoort stars as Rose, a shy, unassuming woman. Following a road accident that leaves her with horrific facial injuries, Rose undergoes an experimental treatment to repair the damage. At first, the procedure is an unbridled success, giving Rose a new confidence in herself. However, an unforeseen side effect is the development of a voracious sexual appetite, a consequence of which is that her partners in these brief encounters become carriers of a disease they are motivated to spread through violent means.
