People often ask why there’s a door halfway up the wall near the right hand side of the screen in IFI Cinema. It’s actually another remnant of the hall’s original use as the Quaker’s Meeting Room. The door allowed you to access the Meeting Room’s extensive balcony which was removed in the original refurbishment.
