Terms and Conditions 

General

  • IFI Membership is for over 18s only.
  • Under 18s can accompany a member to unclassified films with an appropriate age recommendation.
  • Membership is valid for one year from the date of sign-up.
  • Memberships cannot be exchanged, transferred or refunded.
  • Members can use up to 2 discounted tickets per screening.
  • Additional tickets may be purchased at full price.
  • Discounted tickets are not available for selected events, including 70mm screenings
  • Café Bar discount:
Maximum two diners per membership can avail of the discount, with a minimum €10 spend. Excludes alcohol.
  • Members Preview screenings:
Places are limited. Members are notified by email to apply. IFI Friends receive priority access, and winners are chosen at random.

Points

  • Earn 6 points per €1 spent on cinema tickets.
  • Earn 4 points per €1 spent at IFI Café Bar, IFI Film Shop, and on popcorn and non-alcoholic drinks. (Exclusions apply.)
  • Points can only be collected and redeemed with an active membership. Expired members must renew to use any previously collected points.
  • Points can be exchanged for cinema tickets: 1 point = 1 cent.
  • Full ticket value must be redeemed with points; partial exchanges are not possible.
  • Selected events are excluded, such as 70mm screenings.

On sign-up or renewal, members receive:

  • 1560 points for standard membership
  • 1300 points for concession membership
These points can be redeemed for a complimentary cinema ticket, with leftover points remaining on your account for future use.
  • Membership Card
  • You must present your IFI Membership card at the Café Bar and Film Shop to collect points and avail of discounts.
  • Replacement cards can be collected at the IFI Box Office for €2 processing fee.
  • Cards issued at sign-up or renewal do not incur a fee.
