Modern Ireland is the theme of this Irish language short that deals with one girl’s refusal to make her Holy Communion. Committed atheism is Rúbaí’s (Doireann Ní Fhoighil) reason for refusal, a decision that scandalises the adults in her life. Rúbaí was also a winner of Writer’s Guild of Ireland award for its screenplay. Age: 12+
