One of the multi-award winning Cartoon Saloon’s earliest animated shorts, Cúilín Dualach brings us into the world of a young boy born with his head on backwards. The wider world is predictably shocked by Cúilín Dualach; he is shunned, mocked, and even his own father ignores him as the boy searches for something he excels at. Nora Twomey, who would later co-directed Cartoon Saloon’s Oscar-nominated Secret of Kells, here creates a surprising, charming and poignant tale about celebrating difference.
