This Oscar-nominated animation reminds us again of the talent and creativity of Laika Studios. Lead animator on Coraline, Paranorman and The Boxtrolls Travis Knight brings his magical stop motion style to direct this tale of young Kubo. The boy embarks on a quest to find an ancient suit of armour which will enable him stand up to the villainous Moon King.

With his own gifts of storytelling and origami and the help of a talking monkey and a samurai beetle, Kubo prepares to take on the enemy. Action sequences, humour, friendship and monsters combine to set Kubo on the right path.
