One of Chile’s foremost filmmakers, Lelio (Oscar winner for A Fantastic Woman) completes his second English language film with a remake of his own original Spanish language film, Gloria.

Julianne Moore shines as Gloria, long divorced in LA but still hopeful for love which she seeks out in dance clubs. As with his other films, the director’s approach to themes of gender, love, ageing and sensuality remain true and convincing in this funny, highly appealing drama.
